Foreigners who stay in Thailand for more than 90 consecutive days must notify immigration of their address every 90 days (form TM.47). Many people call it the 90-day notification or simply the 90 days report. The report can usually be filed within a window around the due date, in person, online, by post or through an authorised agent. Late reports can lead to a fine.
The 90-day report is a simple notification, but it is easy to forget and annoying to get wrong. The due date counts from your last entry or your last report, the online system can reject entries and some exemptions are not obvious.
We track your dates and file the report for you. If you stay with us, you never need to remember the deadline or visit the office.
This is for you if
- You have stayed in Thailand for more than 90 days in a row.
- You hold a long-stay visa such as O, B, ED, O-A, O-X or DTV.
- You want reminders and filing handled for you.
- You travel often and are unsure when your next report is due.
This may not fit if
- Your current stay is shorter than 90 days. No report is due yet.
- Your visa type may have its own reporting rules. Ask us to confirm yours.
How our 90-day reporting works
- 1
Date check
We read your passport stamps and calculate your next due date and the filing window.
- 2
Reminders
We message you before the window opens so you can confirm your address and any travel.
- 3
Filing
We submit the report online or in person at immigration, whichever is available and correct for your case.
- 4
Confirmation
You receive the confirmation slip or receipt and your next due date.
The basics of the 90-day report
The report confirms where you live while you stay in Thailand. It is due every 90 days of continuous stay. Leaving Thailand and re-entering resets the count, because the 90 days start again from your entry.
Reports are normally accepted within a window before the due date, and a late report can lead to a fine. We confirm the current window and process when we file.
Online, in person or by agent
Immigration offers several ways to report, and which ones work depends on the office, the system status and your situation. If the online system rejects an entry, an in-person report or an authorised agent is the dependable alternative. We use the route that fits your case. Compare the options for the 90-day report.
Exemptions and special cases
Some stay types and visa categories have their own reporting rules, for example certain long-term programmes. If you are not sure whether you must report, ask us before the date arrives. See how the report works with a DTV, retirement or family visa, and what to do after a late report.
What we need to file your report
Please send us:
- Passport photo page and the entry stamp page
- Your current visa or extension page
- Your previous 90-day report slip, if you have one
- Your current address in Thailand
- A signed authorisation for us to file on your behalf
What affects your quote
This service is quoted on request, with our fee and the government fees shown separately. See how our quotes work. Reports can be arranged one by one or as a yearly package with reminders.
- One report or a yearly plan
- Online filing or an in-person visit
- Whether we also handle your extension of stay
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming leaving the country for one day never matters. Check the count.
- Using an old address that no longer matches your records.
- Waiting for the last day, which leaves no room for a rejected online entry.
- Forgetting that a new visa or extension can change your due date.
